Pilu is an AI-powered parenting companion that helps parents track feeding, sleep, growth and other daily details, and get general AI guidance. This policy explains what information Pilu collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Pilu is used by parents and guardians on behalf of their household — it is not directed at children.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Pilu, we may collect:

  • Account and profile information you provide (such as your name and email address).
  • Baby/child profile information you choose to add.
  • Tracking data you log, such as feeding, sleep, diaper, growth and milestone entries.
  • Vaccination-related records and doctor notes you choose to add.
  • Reminders you set within the app.
  • Questions and conversation history from the Pilu AI assistant.
  • Images you choose to upload, such as growth photos.

How we use information

We use this information to provide and improve the core Pilu experience: showing your tracked history, powering reminders, and generating AI assistant responses to your questions. We do not sell your personal information.

AI features

When you ask the Pilu AI assistant a question, relevant context may be used to generate a response. AI responses are for general, educational guidance only — Pilu is not a doctor and does not replace professional medical advice.

Data sharing

We may use trusted service providers (for example, cloud hosting and infrastructure providers) to operate Pilu. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. [TODO] A specific list of sub-processors will be added here once finalized.

Data retention

Children & family data

Pilu accounts are created and controlled by a parent or guardian. Information about a child (such as feeding, sleep or growth data) is entered and managed by that parent or guardian, not by the child.

Cookies & tracking

This website does not currently use third-party advertising or analytics tracking technologies beyond what is strictly necessary for the site to function. If that changes, this policy will be updated accordingly.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
